How do I care for my fabric?

    All fabric is made with 100% cotton. We recommend washing in cold water with like colors. You may line dry or dry in a machine on the med-low or wrinkle guard setting. You may iron with the cotton setting. 

The fabric feels stiff, is this normal?

     African wax print is not prewashed, thus it is a bit stiff before it is washed the first time.  

Where do you purchase your fabric?

    Our fabric is purchased at various markets on the African continent. Currently we focus on African wax print, you can learn more about its history and the history of fabric in Africa here. While many African wax prints are now printed in China, there are new companies emerging on the Continent.  Several of our prints (including Jardin and Wheel of Rose) come from Fantex a Benin owned and operated company. We were also delighted to meet a vendor at the market selling fabric from Sobetex a Beninese fabric company. We  are always looking for new a beautiful fabrics to share with our customers. 

You are out of stock of an item I would like to buy, what can I do?
